READING AFFIRMATION

I know the benefits of reading but it’s not always easy for me to do the things I want to. Sometimes I will need help, and that is okay. I will use this reading affirmation to help me cultivate a positive habit of reading.

I grow in knowledge and wisdom when I read.

My mind is an open reservoir waiting to collect information from any available source. I prefer to read during my downtime. Reading brings me many benefits.

My capabilities expand when I spend time through reading. I am proud to be a scholar reading. Following up on international news keeps me abreast of what is happening in the world. It allows me to be more conversant. It also puts me in a position to be a good global citizen.

Reading about history also expands my horizons because it teaches me humility. When I learn about the difficult experiences of those before us I feel truly grateful for my blessings.

The struggles of my forefathers add to the pool of strength that I tum to when ever I am facing a challenge. Knowing of the hardships experienced by those before me strengthens my resolve to fight through my own.

Reading a good story teaches me to I relax and find peace.

Characters from novels are designed to reflect heroism and fortitude, Although their experiences are illusory, their stories reflect reality. They serve as motivation for me to make it through the toughest times.

Today, I open my mind to new ideas through reading.

I am proud to be a scholar of some of life’s most decorated storytellers and characters. Their written words create experiences that encourage me to live with strength and meaning.

I LOVE READING.
